The Almond Viaduct near Broxburn, West Lothian, Scotland. The viaduct is exactly on the boundery between West Lothian and Edinburgh district. The viaduct, built between 1838 and 1842, it is 36 arches long and is considered to be one of the finest stone railway viaducts in Britain. The viaduct carries the Edinburgh to Glasgow railway. Ribblehead viaduct is probably the most famous of the many feats of Victorian engineering along the stunning Settle to Carlisle railway line. Its iconic location in the middle of the Three Peaks makes it a popular photo stop. There are a number of laybys, a tea wagon and the popular Station Inn. Auckland, New Zealand Viaduct Harbor

A digital coloured pencil drawing of the Ribblehead Viaduct as crosses Batty Moss in the Ribble Valley, North Yorkshire carrying the Settle-Carlisle line. It sits just south of Whernside, the highest peak in Yorkshire, the lower slopes visible in the background. This amazing construction was designed by the Midland Railway's Chief Engineer, John Sydney Crossley. The last stone was laid by the end of 1874, and on 1st May 1876 the whole line opened for passenger traffic.

Dent Head Viaduct is on the Settle to Carlisle Railway between the stations of Ribblehead and Dent, and is viewed here from beside the road into Dentdale from the Newby Head Pass.

The Camps Viaduct (built 1820) in Almondell and Calderwood Country Park, West Lothian, Scotland. Closed about 1960, the Viaduct used to carry the line from the Shale Oil works at Pumpherston to the North British Railway at Camps. It is now part of the National Cycle Network route 75, and provides magnificent views of the river from above. The park is a semi wild nature retreat open to all. This is an HDR version. Canton Viaduct is a blind arcade cavity wall railroad viaduct built in 1834-1835 in Canton, Massachusetts, for the Boston and Providence Railroad. It is an iconic structure as you enter Canton and is still in operation today.

This little wooden covered walkway is situated under the Almondell Viaduct (built 1820) in Almondell and Calderwood Country Park, West Lothian, Scotland. As one of the two bookend clubs on either side of the Denny Way freeway overpass (the Off Ramp being the other) that ruled the Seattle scene during the early 1990s, when the city was discovered by the world. RKCNDY was a huge, two-level, warehouse-type space that had amazing sound and was an all around great place to catch a band most any night of the week. The closure of RKCNDY in 1999 was a hard hit to the all-ages scene, especially with Seattle's Teen Dance Ordinance still firmly in place for another three years.
