We Are Mauna Kea Pillows

Description: Mauna Kea on the Big Island of Hawaii, is a sacred mountain to the Hawaiian people. Protests & demonstrations against TMT are happening around the world to stop the building of the 30 Meter Telescope. The gesture of putting your fingers together to form a mountain has become a symbol of support & solidarity for Mauna Kea & the rights of indigenous people everywhere. I drew the modern art style hands with only one line & hand lettered Mauna Kea above it. I wanted to create a more handmade and organic design that showed my aloha or love for Mauna Kea. On a clear day I can see this majestic mountain from our house & it fills me with reverence, respect & awe. This original design in only legally available from Double Brush.
