Sitting on the lawn, I watched a Willy Wagtail hopping around, and sketched his movement.

This little willywagtail came to my partner's back door every day at 4pm to get his mealworm dinner. So cheeky and cute, and always looking so cranky! I painted him using acrylics on canvas.

The black and white Willie Wagtail is the largest, and most well-known, of the Australian fantails. They are found all across mainland Australia. Photo taken in Sydney on a Nikon Coolpix P610.

Australian Willy Wagtail, a visitor to most Australian backyards. They are a full of spunk and character and will brighten anyone’s day. Legend has it that a Willy Wagtail will bring good luck.

A charcoal and acrylic painting I created on canvas inspired by the beauty of a Willy Wagtail. First charcoal was painted to created a realistic looking bird. Then some soft acrylic splashes were added for the tail.

An original artwork I created with charcoal and acrylics. I am inspired by nature, beauty and expressive movement. Most of my art is a fusion of realism, abstract, expressionism and street art.

This stunning black and white bird design sent me crosseyed focusing on it for hours! It looks great on all the things.
