Wisconsin Racing Pillows
Description: Great Lakes Dragaway is a quarter mile dragstrip in the Town of Paris, Kenosha County, near Union Grove, Wisconsin. The drag strip opened in 1955, making it the 2nd oldest continuously operating drag strip in the country after Inyokern Airport closed. #1 is Redding Raceway in California, which opened in 1953. In the early days of the track, races were started by a flagman (before drag strip Christmas Trees) and cars sometimes raced four abreast.
Description: The first Hi-Rev Speed Equipment store opened up in Marshfield, Wisconsin in 1968. It was a traditional muscle car era speed shop with everything from mag wheels and side pipes to high-rise manifolds and four barrel carburetors. Hi-Rev also got into car audio and stocked an extensive selection of 8-track tapes. Additional stores opened in Eau Claire and Schofield, at which point they began using the name Hi-Rev Speed Shops. Hi-Rev claimed to be Wisconsin's largest speed shop, and who are we to argue with that?
Description: Poovey Farms is Pam Poovey's family dairy farm in rural Brown County Wisconsin where they raised Holstein cattle and produced milk, cheese, and other dairy products. This design includes an authentic Poovey Farms Racing logo with plenty of wear and tear to give it plenty of street cred.
Description: A forgotten slice of Wisconsin racing history that probably should have stayed on the farm. Poovey Farms Racing Division combines dairy-country pride, checkered-flag speed, and a suspicious amount of horsepower in a heavily distressed old-school race-team graphic. Built around the cult Poovey Farms reference from Archer, this design is made for fans who appreciate Pam Poovey, obscure animated TV references, fictional racing teams, and shirts that look like they survived decades in the back of a rural Wisconsin garage.
