In his obvious public discomfort as he walks a fine line attempting to appease the like-minded racists among his base supporters while holding his nose and appealing to the black and brown people who find whatever redeeming quality in Trump that compels their support, The Donald's contrived demeanor of glee when encountering a friendly black face in the crowd in the media's presence is tantamount to the expression of relief on the face of the wuss collared by the schoolyard bully just as his mother shows up to save his ass.

Trump consigliere posing as Attorney General, Bill Barr, tries to have it both ways in how he publicly presents himself. His coy facade belies the cynical errand-boy schemer who follows The Donald's playbook with robotic efficiency, like a mindless drone devoid of morals, ethics or allegiance to the rule of law or the Constitution, Despite his efforts, Trump thinks of Barr as just another temporary cog in the wheel of his personal fortunes. Like all his other disposable minions, Trump pimps Bill Barr like a street corner trick, regarding him as a compliant jester, a clown.
