Summer thunderstorm in Louisiana, Just happened to be in the right place. One area of perfect calm and another of a strong thunderstorm. So much energy. So awesome to capture.

Emma loved trains. She would spend hours gazing out the window of her apartment, watching the trains pass by on the tracks that ran just outside her building. There was something about the sight of those massive steel machines hurtling through the city that stirred a sense of wonder in her. As a child, Emma had loved playing with toy trains and building miniature tracks in her room. She had been fascinated by the idea of these powerful engines pulling long lines of cars across the country, their wheels clicking and clacking over the rails as they went. A foggy fall day before the rains at Vogel State Park. Vogel State Park is a popular outdoor recreation area located in Blairsville, Georgia, in the United States. The park covers an area of 233 acres and includes a lake, hiking trails, camping facilities, and other amenities for visitors to enjoy. The park is named after Fred Vogel, who was the first superintendent of Georgia's state parks system. Vogel State Park was established in the 1930s as part of the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) program, which was a New Deal initiative that provided jobs for unemployed young men during the Great Depression. Sunflowers, scientifically known as Helianthus annuus, are native to North America and have a long history dating back to around 3,000 B.C. when they were first cultivated by indigenous peoples. The sunflower was used for food, oil, dye, and medicine, and was also a symbol of worship for some tribes. In the 16th century, sunflowers were brought to Europe by Spanish explorers and became popular ornamental plants in gardens. However, it was not until the 19th century that sunflowers began to be cultivated for their oil and used for industrial purposes such as making soap and margarine.
