Description: This project is a celebration of the very essence of Indigenous identity; the protection of the land, water and all living things which makes life on Mother Earth possible. With the decolonization of our lives, we are returning to traditional ways, re-establishing the matriarchy, strengthening our communities and participating in the realization of ancient prophecies that unite the north and south. We used the symbology to illustrate these concepts in our design taking inspiration from late Haida Master Bill Reid's famed " Jade Canoe". Artwork By Derek Edenshaw and Dedos.
Description: "Northern Touch" is a Canadian hip-hop single, which was released in 1998 by Rascalz in collaboration with Checkmate, Kardinal Offishall, Thrust and Choclair.[1] It is one of the most important individual songs in the history of Canadian hip-hop, which almost singlehandedly transformed the genre from a largely ignored underground movement into a viable commercial endeavor, this image which is created by Rascalz own "Dedos" artist /bboy as they re-release their track this year with remixes done by various Canadian talent, this tee is to honor this track.
