This was inspired by a mosquito coil widely available in Brazil many years ago, often used when I was a kid to keep mosquitos away. The art on the packaging showed a mosquito with an acoustic guitar and another mosquito with a fork, both of them tormenting an old man who was trying to sleep. Then I decided to create a more realistic version of the mosquito with a guitar.
Description: Dry pastel on paper. Another depiction (the fourth or fifth one so far) of the colossal creature known as Behemoth, from the Judeo-Christian mythology and the Book of Job. Behemoth is a giant land animal, being the terrestrial equivalent to the sea monster Leviathan. Basically, I used a mixture of a tapyr, an ox, a manatee and a Dimetrodon as a base for the monster.
