Description: Whatever your opinions are of the Vietnam War, one thing is for certain: it left many veterans scarred physically, emotionally, psychologically and so on. It's important to give aid to them, and so, for every purchase that is made for this piece (featuring a mermaid in a Donut Dolly uniform), proceeds will be given to the Fisher House Foundation, an organization dedicated to helping veterans and their loved ones. More information about them can be found here: https://fisherhouse.org/ To the veterans who served during this rough time, this one's for you. Enjoy!

Description: Never forget. This mermaid piece is dedicated to all veterans, living and dead, for their service and sacrifice. This mermaid is based on a relative of mine who served as a nurse during WWII (and even out of war as that was her occupation before and after the fact) so the mermaid looks a little like her as my way to honor her in a happy and inspiring moment. I gave her the mask and shield because in the past and even now, superheroes come in many forms. I plan on donating my proceeds towards any of the following three organizations - the Fisher House Foundation, the Rosie the Riveter WWII Home Front National Historical Park, and/or the Gary Sinise Foundation. Enjoy and to veterans and nurses past, present and future... thank you.
