Description: Easter is coming up and I did some research to find out what flowers are meaningful for this time of year. I wanted to create a floral design that is positive because that is what Easter means to me. Jesus came to set me free!

Description: On my birthday, I was inspired to set up a still life with a piece of my birthday cake. It was a fun project to find bits and pieces for the still life and then to paint the cake quickly so my 6yo could eat it. :) All the while I painted the piece of cake Tim kept asking if he could eat it yet and please hurry up mummy! It proved to be a challenge when the cake was gone and there was a hole so to speak in my still life. It's amazing how colours affect each other. Genesis heat set oils on 40cm x 30cm stretched canvas.
