Description: While enjoying the early spring vibes in Leipzig, Germany, I took this photograph of trees being reflected in a river. At home I digitally altered the image a bit, gave it more color to make it look like a painting and to reflect my mood, which brightened with every ray of sunlight. I hope it makes you feel happy inside while looking at it :)

Description: Lots and lots of red poppies on this stunning poppy and cornflower field in Blankenburg, Harz, Germany. We did a hiking tour in the Harz Mountains when we discovered this field, I've never seen such beauty before. So, I came back here the other day and spent three more hours taking photographs (the other ones you may find in the "Poppies and Cornflowers" collection).
Description: On a hiking trip in the forest of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains (Elbsandsteingebirge) in Germany near the Devils Canyon (Teufelsschlucht) I found this spiderweb - the sun was shining right above the web, giving it an atmospheric feel - if you look closely you may also see the silhouettes of many small spiders inside the web, I think it might have been a spider nursery :D Picture taken with an iphone.
Description: After two years I was finally able to visit my family in Prestwick, Ayrshire, Scotland again. We were really lucky because nearly the whole time it was sunny and warm, so we visited the beach as often as we could. On one evening the sunset was especially stunning, this image here is from this day - the sun is being reflected in the ocean and gives the waves an orange look, so beautiful! When you look at the picture, can you feel the calming effect?

This photograph was taken in Sopot, Poland, where I had a vacation recently.You can see the different patterns - reflections of light and the absence of it, a very unique image.
