The jetty that leads to the lighthouse is covered with ice buildup from the waves that crashed against it and froze the night before.

The Allen-Bradley Clock Tower, owned by Allen-Bradley, a product brand of Rockwell Automation, has long been a landmark in Milwaukee. According to the Guinness Book of World Records: "The largest four-faced clock is that on the research and office addition of the Allen-Bradley Company. Each face has a diameter of 40 feet, 3-1/2 inches. Dedicated on October 31, 1962, it rises 280 feet from the streets of Milwaukee, and requires 34.6 kilowatts of electricity for lighting and power. The clock has been called "The Polish Moon," referring to the historically Polish neighborhood in which it is based.
Description: In winter I find myself dreaming of my garden and the flowers to come in spring: the pink and cream roses, the purple iris, the thistle, delphinium, and columbine. These start out as photos of bouquets of flowers and are then digitally manipulated into the patterns you see here.

Description: This Mandala, or kaleidoscope design, is based upon the Hellebore flower. The design is purple and blue with touches of pink and gold. Hellebores are one of the earliest flowers to bloom in Spring. They are herbaceous or evergreen perennial flowering plants in the family Ranunculaceae, within which it gave its name to the tribe of Helleboreae.
Description: This design is dedicated all those who fly in the face of impossibilities to achieve their dreams. The illustration of the flying pig was done by my son, Philippe Machare, who is studying art.

Description: The letter H straight from the time of the Roaring Twenties with it's distinctive chrome outlines and decorative elements on a glassy, rainbow background. A typographic series that plays homage to Art Deco, a movement which took its name, from the Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes (International Exhibition of Modern Decorative and Industrial Arts) held in Paris in 1925. It combined modernist styles with fine craftsmanship and rich materials. During its heyday, Art Deco represented luxury, glamour, exuberance, and faith in social and technological progress.
