Isn’t it wonderful how cats can sleep in the strangest places? Nobody relaxes quite the way a cat does, all those liquid, floppy, warm and purry muscles… Just chilling. : ) Hand drawn with graphite pencil and coloured in photoshop with a few of my own textures thrown in for good measure. PS All titles and authors names are fully imaginary. ; )

I love books so much, my home is full of them. There is nothing better than a pile of new books just waiting to be read, and a quiet day to read them in. Such days don't come around too often in my life, but I can dream. : )

Do you see tiny pandas or giant poppies? :) I had no internet for five days. FIVE DAYS. I don't feel amazing. I don't feel magically content and re-connected with my family. I feel frustrated, unproductive, mad. And my creativity is low.... Anyway, this is what I did with that time. Not much to show for five days of downtime, is it?

Even dinosaurs need love sometimes. Hugs are good for just about everybody.

This pattern took me ages, long enough to make me wonder what I was thinking even starting on such an ambitious (for me) project. But my garden is full of proteas, and they are so lovely, I find their shapes and colors endlessly inspiring, so it had to be done. I couldn't ignore them anymore. : )
