Description: The children awoke atop a towering stack of books in the silent city that lives in perpetual pre-dawn light and drawing near the balloons lowering their ladders. Soon they would be carried away from the snow swept city to grand adventures through the stars, across hot desert dunes and to have fierce battles against teacup soldiers. Morning's calling could not be ignored forever though and the children began to drift awake...
Description: Inspired by the character Morningstar from Mists of Everness by John C. Wright, Morningstar is a fallen archangel who now commands legions of dark forces and is lord of Acheron in the realm of the Dreaming. At the time of his fall his halo and wings turned black and the tears he wept at being banished from heaven were permanently stained into his porcelain skin which has also began to crack due to his inner corruption.
