Description: The Submarine Spitfire is a British single-seat fighter aircraft that was used by the Royal Air Force and other Allied countries throughout the Second World War. It was produced in greater numbers than any other British aircraft.

Description: Recently, a friend of mine (who I hadn't seen in six or seven years!) came over from Australia. I loved having her here, and now that she's gone, I'm desperate to get out there to visit her! I've always loved to travel and adventure around new places, experiencing new cultures and environments, so I guess I should have expected that. Anyway, it was my love of travel that inspired this piece; a compass rose.
