Description: Zorlac Skateboards was founded by Jeff Newton in Dallas, Texas, in 1976, and quickly built a following with their decks emblazoned with creepy artwork that skaters loved and moms hated. Cool art aside, two of the best skaters in Texas rode for Zorlac - Craig Johnson from Dallas and John "Tex" Gibson from Houston - and later collaborations with metal and punk bands sealed the deal for legions of skaters who loved Zorlac's edgy style and punk ethos.
