Description: Roswell is a city in, and the seat of, Chaves County in the U.S. state of New Mexico. Chaves County forms the entirety of the Roswell micropolitan area. The Roswell incident was named after the town, though the crash site of the alleged UFO was some 75 miles (121 km) from Roswell and closer to Corona. The investigation and debris recovery was handled by the local Roswell Army Air Field. On the 50th anniversary of the Roswell UFO incident the UFO Festival was started.
Description: Sanctuary Base 6 was a huge base staffed with humans and Ood on Krop Tor. Sanctuary Base 6 was built by the Walker Expedition. The scientists involved were studying K37 Gem 5, a black hole and the power source keeping Krop Tor from getting sucked in. The base was destroyed when the planet it was on was consumed by the black hole. (TV: The Impossible Planet / The Satan Pit) The Tenth Doctor kept his Sanctuary Base 6 space suit in the TARDIS. He wore it to stroll on the surface of Mars. The helmet was damaged in the escape from Bowie Base One and abandoned shortly after. Description: Alleged location of a secret underground alien base. An explosive engineer who worked for the U.S. government, with high-level security clearance, claimed that in 1979 he participated in the building of a “secret underground base,” in Dulce, New Mexico. It was here that a horrific battle played out leaving 60 humans dead and countless subterranean aliens fighting for their life.
