Created by television producers Sid and Marty Krofft, the colorful, multi-level attraction brought their beloved characters from shows like H.R. Pufnstuf and Lidsville to life through imaginative rides, puppet theaters, and fantastical displays. Despite its ambitious design, low attendance and operating difficulties led to its closure in November 1976, after just six months.
