These tiny fungi are quite rare - which is why they don't have a common name. I found this group at Robertson's Gully near Marysville in Victoria, Australia, back in the 1980s and took this photo on Kodachrome. This is a digital scan from the original. Sadly Robertson's Gully was completely burnt out in the 2009 fires - so these little beauties are even rarer now.

The Rainbow Lorikeets were introduced to the Land Of Parrots at Healesville Sanctuary in Victoria, Australia, just before Christmas. They are really settling in now - and checking out nesting holes!
