Paul Judson Smith, Sr., age 86 of Wagram passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2018. Paul was a son of the late Emmet Corneilus Smith and Reca Connely Smith born March 23, 1931 in Wagram, North Carolina. He was the last living member of a decedent from Daniel White who founded Spring Hill Baptist Church. He graduated from Wagram High School and enlisted with the United States Air Force. He was a Korean War Veteran who proudly served as an Airman and also with the Military Police. Paul has been a farmer since 1954, retired from Burlington Industries after many years of service and was the owner and operator of Wagram Esso for more than 30 years.
