Herm Island, just 1.5 miles long and less than half a mile wide, is one of the Channel Islands and is part of the Bailiwick of Guernsey. There are no cars on the island or bicycles, but quad bikes and tractors are permitted. Shell Bay, on the north-east tip of Herm is one of the Channel Islands most beautiful beaches. Herm is reached by boat from St Peter Port on Guernsey or from the island of Sark. Date: 23rd August 2014. Belvoir Bay Number of views as of 4th September 2017 = 580. Belvoir Bay is a lovely beach on the East Coast of Herm Island, just a 20 minute boat trip from St Peter Port, Guernsey, Channel Islands. The island on the horizon is Sark. Date: 23rd August 2014. View my Channel Islands collection here.

Jethou Number of views as of 18th October 2018 = 560. Jethou is a small island of 44 acres in the Channel Islands, lying just to the south of Herm and due east of St Peter Port, the capital of Guernsey. From 1055 to 1414, Jethou was administered by the Abbots of Mont St Michel (Normandy, France) but in 1416, it became part of Henry the Fifth of England's estate. Jethou is part of the Bailiwick of Guernsey, so remains a Crown lease to this day. The current lease-holders are Sir Peter Ogden and Philip Hulme, co-founders of Computacenter, one of the UK's largest IT businesses. Date: 23rd August 2014. View my Channel Islands collection here.
