Steeple Baseball T-Shirts

Using a photograph I took of this country chapel I applied some digital art techniques to create the watercolor effect. This country chapel was built in 1871 and is still used for services to this day.

This is a blue temple that I found while driving around on Google street view. Oh well.... there is currently a pandemic happening and we are getting confined to our houses. It is one way in the change my subject from time to time without leaving the house. This temple can be found in Greece, but I bet you already knew that.

Built in 1871 Old Town Alexandria's City Hall is listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. This site dates back to 1749 and was originally a market and courthouse. The current building was designed by Adolph Cluss.

Hethersett Church is near Norwich, Norfolk, East Anglia. Todays church dates from the fourteenth century with fifteenth-century additions. It is built of flints and local field stones with Caen stone dressings and the roof is of lead and slate. The tower, built in four stages, supports a lead dressed steeple which is topped by a weathervane depicting a dove perched upon a coiled serpent and holding in its beak, loves-lies-bleeding. There was a modern building in the background in the Central Business District that looked out of place so I removed it. I also added a gradient to replace the sky and added soap bubbles. Taken on Chartres Street, French Quarter.

Las Flores is a small town located in the Honduran department of Lempira. The town is 200 meters away from the paved road. It was first called Las Flores de Santa Bárbara, honoring the image of the saint of that place. It was granted the category of municipality in January 1869. The population in 2015 was estimated at about 9,800 people, with about 90% of them are cross-breed of native Indians and Spanish settlers. Because of the small size of the community, the inhabitants have a very peaceful life that it is very normal for kids to gather at the central park or on streets very late at night. I love the steeple of this beautiful church & thought the palm tree & blooming Lasiandra set it off nicely. Jenny Nystrom created the image of the tomten or mischievous spirits and gnomes who protected the Swedish farmstead and buildings. They also represented Father Christmas who delivered children’s presents on Christmas eve. This image depicts a gnome in the bell tower ringing the bell over the snowy village below.
