Knight King Cards
Description: Baldwin IV, known as the Leper King, ruled the Kingdom of Jerusalem in the 12th century during the turbulent era of the Crusades. Diagnosed with leprosy at a young age, he defied his fate with extraordinary resolve. Marked by disease but unbroken in spirit, he led the Crusader kingdom with courage, wisdom, and deep faith. Alongside the Templars, Crusaders, and other knightly orders, he defended Jerusalem against Saladin’s forces—most notably at the legendary Battle of Montgisard. Despite his physical suffering, Baldwin became a symbol of endurance and honor—a king who dedicated his life to the protection of the Holy Land.
Description: Black Knight: None shall pass. King Arthur: What? Black Knight: None shall pass. King Arthur: I have no quarrel with you, good Sir Knight, but I must cross this bridge. Black Knight: Then you shall die. King Arthur: I command you, as King of the Britons, to stand aside! Black Knight: I move for no man. King Arthur: So be it! [rounds of melee, with Arthur cutting off the left arm of the black knight.] King Arthur: Now stand aside, worthy adversary. Black Knight: Tis but a scratch. King Arthur: A scratch?! Your arm's off! Black Knight: No it isn't. King Arthur: Well what's that then? [Pointing to the knight's arm lying on the ground.] Black Knight: I've had worse. King Arthur: You liar! Black Knight: Come on then, you pansy!
Description: Guard: Are you suggesting that coconuts migrate? Arthur: Not at all! They could be carried. Guard: (indcredulous) What, a swallow, carrying a coconut? Arthur: It could grip it by the husk! Guard: It's not a question of where 'e grips it! It's a simple question of weight ratios! A five-ounce bird could *not* carry a one-pound coconut!
