Description: Baldwin IV, known as the Leper King, ruled the Kingdom of Jerusalem in the 12th century during the turbulent era of the Crusades. Diagnosed with leprosy at a young age, he defied his fate with extraordinary resolve. Marked by disease but unbroken in spirit, he led the Crusader kingdom with courage, wisdom, and deep faith. Alongside the Templars, Crusaders, and other knightly orders, he defended Jerusalem against Saladin’s forces—most notably at the legendary Battle of Montgisard.
