Samax Amen Cards

Description: Cubist painter and sculptor Pablo Picasso (25 October 1881 – 8 April 1973) remains very quotable. This is my favorite Picasso quote.

Description: If this drawing seems familiar to you, it's because it started out as a pencil sketch in my Big Black Sketchbook way back in 2018. I have been wanting to ink and color it ever since and I finally got around to it in 2023.

Description: There is nothing more powerful than a human being with a made up mind.

Description: It remains the second happiest day of my life. Father's Day 2011. A family trip to the all-you-can-eat buffet. Married to my college sweetheart. sitting next to my perfect little bundle of joy. Spending day off from my great job with the two people I love the most, who also love me. I was living the dream.

Description: "Teach only love, for that is what you are." -Gerald Jampolsky... I don't remember where I heard this quote, but I wrote it in my journal in April of 2012. Words to live by! - AMEN

Description: People worry about looking cool and stylish a lot. I just focus on being happy. Being happy never goes out of style.

Description: The impending torpedoing of abortion rights inspired protests of all kinds, and as usual, the criticism of protest is never far behind. The Reverend Dr. Jacqui Lewis dropped this jewel on Twitter that spoke loudly to me.

Description: "Sic transit gloria . . . Glory fades." Just an obscure quote from one of my top favorite movies of all time. If you know, you know.

Description: Peace. Keep breathing, fam.

Description: One of my favorite comedians is actually a puppet: Chad the Bird. If Chad gets up early (like the bird that gets the proverbial worm), it's NOT so he can go running. We know that much!

Description: I love myself. I trust myself. I honor myself. I value myself. Simple design for a simple message.

Description: I drew a character design where the character needed a crazy cat lady shirt, so as a sub-project, I created this one.

Description: I drew this Robot Lady in my sketchbook recently and could not let go of the idea of making stuff out of it. Because that's how I roll. -AMEN

Description: Don't let people define you by your enemies.
