I grew up in Des Moines, Iowa where one of the best modern art museums in the States happens to be. It was within bicycling distance from my house and I went there A LOT. I have loved modern art for decades and I am enjoying making some of my own.

I can't remember the first time I doodled a maze of this sort, but I know it was a long time ago. Their creation is a meditation for me. In the maze, I feel a sense of ying and yang. Beginning and end, corners and curves, empty and full. These mazes have so many elements that are metaphors for life.
