The 36th Field Artillery Regiment is a field artillery regiment of the United States Army. The Regiment was reformed though the reorganization, consolidation, and redesignation of HHB, 36th Artillery Group and the 36th and 546th Field Artillery Battalions as the 36th Field artillery, a parent regiment under the Combat Arms Regimental System, on 30 April 1972; it was reorganized and redesignated in 1987 under the U.S. Army Regimental System.
