The Biosphere, also known as the Montreal Biosphere, is a museum dedicated to the environment in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is housed in the former United States pavilion constructed for Expo 67 located within the grounds of Parc Jean-Drapeau on Saint Helen's Island.

The 1967 International and Universal Exposition or Expo 67, as it was commonly known, was a general exhibition, Category One World's Fair held in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, from April 27 to October 29, 1967. The theme, "Man and His World," was based on the 1939 book entitled Terre des Hommes (translated as Wind, Sand and Stars) by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. Expo 67 featured 90 pavilions representing "Man and His World" themes, nations, corporations, and industries, including the U.S. pavilion, a geodesic dome designed by Buckminster Fuller. Expo 67 also featured the Habitat 67 modular housing complex designed by architect Moshe Safdie, which was later purchased by private individuals and is still occupied today.

We need to take care of our planet and keep it healthy for our children's children. Trees are very symbolic they can mean family but also life, sustenance, and shelter. They also clean the air and rid us of some toxic gases and emit oxygen.

Lake Kerkini (Serres, Macedonia, Greece) is one of the most important wetlands and ecosystems in Greece (protected by the Ramsar convention, part of the Natura 2000 network), but, above all is a place of unique beauty and peaceful atmosphere.
