Pastel on Mi-Teinte 'Tex' paper - 55cm x 35cm approx. One of the numerous picturesque creeks that run through the area where I live. This one is still trickling along, despite the drought we are currently experiencing.

Pastel on Canson Mi-Teinte Tex Paper - Burgundy - 75cm x 55cm A commission I started last June and finished yesterday - 21st October! I have occasionally had a few moments to throw a bit of pastel around, but this is the first work I've completed for quite awhile! It feels good to get back into the studio. When the ironbark trees come into blossom, the cockatoos have a fantastic time picking the flowers, and leaving a carpet of blossom underneath the trees. Featured in Everyday Women - 23/10/14

Pastel on Art Spectrum Colourfix paper (burgundy). Walking through the Australian bush where I live after rain had been falling overnight, I noticed how wonderful these leaves looked with jewel like raindrops scattered over them.

Pastel 75cm x 55cm approx. The beautiful Trawool Valley is situated between Seymour and Yea, in Central Victoria, Australia. It is a wonderful area that would inspire any artist. It has enormous rugged rocks scattered around, great gum trees and the Goulburn River flowing through.

Pastel on Mi-Teinte 'Tex' paper - approximately 45cm x 45cm Found this rather rugged track (only suitable for 4 wheel drives) during a recent visit to the Jamieson area of Victoria. There were some amazing eucalypts and wonderful scenery, but some very scary areas where the track almost disappeared at the top of very high ridges! My husband had a wonderful time, but I thought I would never see civilisation again!
