Santa Maria del Fiore

This work of iconic Florence view of Santa Maria del Fiore took me over 40 hours of work. Hope it was worth it)

Florence's Duomo is the city's most iconic landmark. Capped by Filippo Brunelleschi's red-tiled cupola, it's a staggering construction whose breathtaking pink, white and green marble facade and graceful campanile (bell tower) dominate the medieval cityscape. Sienese architect Arnolfo di Cambio began work on it in 1296, but construction took almost 150 years and it wasn't consecrated until 1436. I took this photo on a visit there and gave it a painterly treatment in CC and Topaz.

The Leaning Tower of Pisa (Il Torre Pendente di Pisa) is situated in the Piazza del Duomo together with the Duomo and the Baptistry which together form a World Heritage site in Italy
