It will be a sad day when the West Pier is finally claimed by the sea. In the meantime, it was a beautiful sunny day when I sat on the beach to take this and there were hardly any people around....bliss!

These great vintage ice cream vans are parked up for the winter near the Albert Dock in Liverpool. They still add a lovely splash of colour though:)
