Oilpastel Crewneck Sweatshirts

This is a house I saw in Wellington, New Zealand. A very wild and wooly place with lots of crazy old houses on extreme slopes mad angles. This house was built on a tiny corner and seemed to overhang it. The old car was artistic license.

Prints from my original oilpastel drawing on paper. My family’s garden grew a few different heliconias. I love the lush, strappy foliage as much as the striking flower heads. These make such bold and beautiful cut arrangements.

This is based on a photo I took in the main street of Hamilton, New Zealand. This is the old bank and it has been converted into a restaurant. I have been there many times and it is a great place to eat. The original safe is still there and forms part of the kitchen.

Matanaka Farm is near Waikouaiti in Otago, New Zealand. The five buildings are the oldest surviving farm buildings that are still in their original position in the country. The farm is owned and administered by Heritage New Zealand
