I love to paint Christmas-themed art, so I decided to create a holiday-themed piece featuring a northern saw-whet owl, barn owl and snowy owl.

I put this triptych together for a club competition on the Theme of Owls. It features from left to right, A tawny owl, a barn owl and a long eared owl.I decided to give them a watercolour treatment, which works quite well as they are all similarly coloured. Edited in Photoshop CC and Topaz studio.

Although Davina and Rowena were hard-pressed to say where their recipe went awry, the fact remained that their friend Astra was now a barn owl. Hope everything goes according to plan for you this Halloween! This original 4" x 6" handcut collage was constructed of vintage images, skeleton leaves, handmade paper and washi tape and mounted on 5 1/2" x 6" embossed cardstock.
