Pete (ピート, Pīto or Pete) is a recurring character in the Harvest Moon and Story of Seasons series. The first ピート (Pito?) was the first playable character in the series. He wears a white shirt, a pair of blue overalls and a green and sometimes blue cap. The second Pete was Natsume's first protagonist who had brown hair and wore blue overalls and a red bandana.

Claire (クレア, Kurea,) is one of the four protagonists available to choose from in Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town.

Kappa (かっぱ, Kappa) is the amphibious water imp who lives in the lake in the mountains. He likes cucumbers and being left alone. Oh, and he's single!

Marie (マリー, Mari) is a character in Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town. Marie is a shy librarian who admires her father's botany work. She hopes to become a writer someday and can be seen working on her own book. Marie plays the organ during the Music Festival.

Karen (カレン, Karen) is a character in Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town. Karen is the daughter of Jeff and Sasha. The family live at and operate Mineral Town's Supermarket. Karen is a friendly and sociable person who spends most of her days at home or in the store.

Rick (リック, Rikku) is a character in Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town. Responsible and sincere, Rick has taken over for his sickly mom and absentee dad as the head of PoPoultry. He may be a tad overprotective of his little sister, but it comes from a place of love.

Jennifer (ジェ二ファー, Jenifa) is a character in Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town. Jennifer was introduced for the first time, along with Brandon, for the Nintendo Switch version of Friends Of Mineral Town.

Popuri (ポプリ, Popuri) is a character in Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town. Popuri works and lives at PoPoultry with her mother Lillia and brother Rick. She is much more carefree and cheery than her brother, but loves him just the same. Popuri is very upbeat and friendly but hates to be treated like she's still a kid.

Harvest Goddess (女神さま, Megami-sama) is a character in Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town. The goddess is the guardian deity of Mineral Town. She is always watching over the town's villagers. She lives in the spring and appears when presented with an offering.

Brandon (ブランドン, Burandon) is a bachelor in Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town. Brandon lives with Gotts to south of your farm. He is seen wondering near the hot spring and lake in the morning. Eccentric yet passionate, Brandon is a renowned artist taking up residence at the Workshop.

Gray (グレイ, Gurei) is a character in Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town. Gray is a rather angry young man who's come from the city to live in Mineral Town. He works as an apprentice blacksmith under his grandfather, Saibara. He may seem rude, but it stems from his frustration of working under Saibara, who has high expectations of Gray. He is often misunderstood, but he actually has a very sweet side if you get to know him.

Elly (エリィ, Erii) is a character in Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town. Elly is the nurse at the local clinic in Mineral Town. She also has the responsibility of caring for her mischievous little brother Yu and her ailing grandmother, Ellen. Despite her hardships, Elly is always kind and patient, often putting the needs of others before her own. Elly's family is very important to her, especially after her parents died many years ago.

Gourmet (グルメマン Gurumeman?, lit. Gourmetman) is a recurring character in the Harvest Moon series.

Kai (カイ, Kai) is a character in Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town. Kai runs the Seaside Shack on Mineral Beach during the summer season. He's much more interested in soaking up the sun, and will comment that your character works too hard. He is friendly to everybody in town, with the exception of Rick. Kai is close friends to Popuri.

Cliff (クリフ, Kurifu) is a character in Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town. Cliff is a wandering traveler who has found himself in Mineral Town. He is shy and distant from everybody, and can be found at the Church.

Doctor (ドクター) is a character in Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town. Doctor works at the clinic six days a week for the people of Mineral Town. He is very caring, and is very much concerned about doing a good job as a doctor. He always seems to be focused on his work, but not much else, and is often under stress to succeed. He feels frustrated with patients like Ellen and Lillia, both of whom he cannot cure. If you faint from doing too much work, you will wake up at the clinic.

Ann (アン?) is the name of two recurring characters in the Harvest Moon series. The first Ann (アン An?) has red-orange hair in a ponytail and dresses in a shirt, pants and a jacket. She works as an inventor. The second Ann (ラン Ran?) has orange hair in braids, and dresses in a shirt and a jumper. She has a few different jobs depending on the games she appears in.

Won (ホアン Hoan, lit. Hoang) is a character in Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town and Harvest Moon: More Friends of Mineral Town. He is a traveling salesman, but also sells his wares out of his shop on the beach. He lives with Zack, but only leaves the shop to act as a door to door salesman on the 4th of the month.
