Tarpaulin Crewneck Sweatshirts

I saw piles of bricks on a construction site in Beijing loosely wrapped in red tarpaulins. Had I had more time I would have taken loads of pictures of these interesting contrasts of colors and textures, but being in a hurry I at least managed one. (Nikon D5200; lens: AF-S Nikkor, 18-55mm)

This is an image of an old fishing boat in the harbour at Carrigaholt, in County Clare, Ireland. The tide was out, so the boat just sat on its keel. I've no idea of how long it had sat there; it just looked really sad. In the wheelhouse were an empty cigarette pack and an opened pop can, no doubt artefacts of the end of its working life. The tarpaulin over the roof seemed to speak of some hope that the boat might still have had some life, but judging by the decaying paintwork, that hope must have faded.
