Meet Mende. Like many black women across America she grew up in the church but she also grew up in the ghetto. She finds herself constantly trying to navigate both worlds. The church has taught her to love God and put God first. The streets have taught her to not take any mess from anyone or anybody. She often feels that people view her Christianity as some indication that she can be walked over or stepped on. But Mende is not the one. She has a tempter and no problem laying hands on you if she feels disrespected. In the name of Jesus of course. In short God is not through with her yet.

Meet Rasheeda. She often finds herself way more in love with God than God's people. She loves going to church but often grows tired and impatient with many of the games and gimmicks that are played in church. Her BS detector is put on high.

Meet Davida. She is a young Christian woman full of faith, she is also a firm believer that "faith without works is dead." She believes in God's promises but she also knows that you have to work extremely hard to achieve them. Davida always says "God has already provided you with tremendous blessings, you just have to go out there and get it."

Meet Fayth. She has been through a lot in her life. She has experienced poverty, she has experienced joblessness. Fayth came home from work one day only to find all of her belongings on the street, because she couldn’t pay her rent. She had to move into a homeless shelter, with her two children. The father of her two children promised her that he would always love her, but only gave her a broken heart. But Fayth never gave up hoping and praying. Just recently she found a new job that pays more than the job she lost, and a better apartment than the one she was evicted from, and faith is now enrolled in college and only months away from getting her masters.
