One of Wes Craven's better, yet buried flicks, "The Serpent And The Rainbow" is well worth the time. In that movie is this little bugger, all snakey-mouthed and everything.

Calypso Ezili was the first female villain I saw when I was a kid, somehow I was amazed by her. She was a Voodoo Priestess and she sacrificed her younger sister for increasing her own powers. She drove Kraven the Hunter mad because of his hatred of Spiderman, and it led him to suicide. I wanted to illustrate the “story.” I made a group of illustrations like this back in 2012 for a contest, few of them got approved and none of them won, yet I enjoyed working on these a lot.
