This explosive vintage design brings together armored dinosaurs, laser-blasting heroes, and 80s cartoon action in one wild sci-fi ride. A must-have for dino geeks, retro toy fans, and Saturday morning warriors.
Description: A circular cartoon featuring a light blue sky above a tan ground. "Dino Riders" is written boldly at the top. A Tyrannosaurus Rex and Triceratops face each other, both fitted with technological weaponry and shooting lasers. The scene appears to be a desert area with small, rolling hills.
Description: Dino-Riders is a 1988 action figure toy line based around the battle between the heroic Valorians and the evil Rulon Alliance on prehistoric Earth. The Valorians were a superhuman race, while the Rulons comprised several breeds of humanoids. Both races came from the future, but were transported back in time to the age of dinosaurs. Once on Earth, the Valorians befriended dinosaurs, while the Rulons brainwashed them. The toy line saw four series of figures released between 1988 and 1990, each of which included mini comic books with each figure and set. An animated cartoon series was developed that only ran for 14 episodes, along with a few VHS releases. A full size traditional comic book was launched in 1989, but was poorly received.
Description: When prehistoric power met futuristic firepower, Saturday morning imagination went completely wild. This retro-inspired Dino-Riders design brings back the unmistakable energy of late-80s toy aisles—armored dinosaurs, laser battles, volcanic worlds, and larger-than-life adventure. Created with the look and attitude of vintage 1980s action-toy packaging, this design is made for collectors, retro toy hunters, dinosaur fans, and anyone who remembers when the coolest heroes rode into battle on dinosaurs loaded with sci-fi hardware. A nostalgic tribute to the era when dinosaurs didn’t just rule the earth—they went into battle.
