Description: Token Entry was a hardcore/skate-punk band formed in Queens, New York in 1980, when they were known as Gilligan's Revenge. They adopted the name Token Entry in 1984 and released an EP the following year. Their first LP, From Beneath The Streets, dropped in 1987, and was followed up with their second LP, Jaybird, in 1988. Released on the short-lived Hawker Records label, Jaybird's sound fell somewhere between NYHC fare and a more traditional skatepunk and quickly became a fan favorite.
