Description: This stripey chap is a favourite of my animal pieces. The key thing with this piece is the simplicity, the zebra itself, (Equus quagga) was easy enough to paint, all it took was a blue base wash and white and black ink overlays, but combined with the splatter style background it makes for a great graphics style piece and nice composition.
