Description: Ben Moir opened Ben’s Bakery in Halifax, Nova Scotia back in 1907, providing artisan quality baked goods to the greater Halifax area. As the bakery's popularity grew, so did their facilities and their reach, eventually growing the small bakery into a 50,000 square foot plant that allowed them to produce at levels for distribution throughout Canada.
