Griffith Merch
Description: I took this shot from the Griffith Observatory where parts of the James Dean movie "A Rebel Without A Cause" was filmed. This place was amazing because it had an awesome view of the city as you can see here. This is an HDR that was taken with -2, 0, +2 exposures and combined in photomatix. I masked through the original pictures to get the look i wanted. I then took the photo to CS5 where i did further editing with OnOne software and nik effex.
Description: This artwork explores a gritty cinematic collage style built through realistic portrait illustration, heavy ink textures, distressed surfaces, and layered poster composition. The visual direction combines graphic novel rendering, vintage crime poster aesthetics, and dark editorial illustration. Strong shadows, rough cross-hatching, cracked textures, and muted earthy colors create a tense and cinematic atmosphere, while selective accent tones help guide the eye toward the main focal points.
