The seventh in a series of Universal Holmes movies featuring Rathbone and Bruce, Sherlock Holmes And The Spider Woman features elements from numerous original Conan Doyle stories including The Sign Of The Four, The Final Problem and The Adventure of the Devil's Foot, but with the setting updated to the then present day rather than the original Victorian setting.
