Description: "Bida-bida" is a colloquial term in Filipino (Tagalog) used to describe someone who constantly seeks attention or tries to be the center of attention in a way that can be perceived as annoying or boastful. It is often used to refer to a person who always wants to be in the spotlight, frequently volunteers themselves for tasks, or tries to show off their abilities, sometimes unnecessarily. The term can carry a negative connotation, implying that the person is overzealous or excessively eager to be noticed. For context, the relation of the term with Jollibee came from Jollibee's tag line, "Bida ang Saya", which means "Joy takes the center stage."

Bida-bida comes from bida "protagonist, main character" so bida-bida would mean something along the lines of trying to be the center of attention, usually obnoxiously.
