Description: pic Surf Designs, great places to surf around the world.Sitting 10km (6mi) west of the town of Margaret River, the famous Margaret River lefts known as Surfers Point can be found, grinding down the reef. It is a peak in swells up to 6ft (2m) but Margaret’s is all about size and the lefts will handle plenty of that. Heartstopping drops, lumpy bowls and cutback walls are all part of the waves’ personality and it can handle a healthy dose of onshore wind, maintaining shape and some face smoothness for long, swooping turns. Watch out for speed bumps when cranking off the bottom and keep an eye on the horizon. Getting caught inside is no fun and positively dangerous if taking on the rights. Best conditions will be solid W swell, skimpy E wind...

Description: Tijuana Sloughs is the break where the Tijuana rivermouth meets the Pacific Ocean. It is actually easiest to access Sloughs from Imperial Beach, since getting there from Playas de Tijuana would mean paddling north across the border and could result in attracting attention from the Border Patrol. This is a wave that changes greatly depending on the season, the amount of recent rainfall and swell direction. It is usually best in the wintertime on the big Northwest swells. Tijuana Sloughs is a series of cobblestone reefs that can handle waves over triple overhead. That said, it is somewhat of a mysto spot since the takeoff zone is shifty and there is a tendency for sneaker sets to come out of nowhere and blow through the lineup. !http://...
Description: Great places to surf around the world.Queensland's Gold Coast is one of the most intense surf zones in the world, combining 40K's (25mi) of legendary spots with a huge, hungry surf population. It's the most visited stretch of coastline in Australia, but don't be misled by the name 'Surfer's Paradise', as the heart of this zone is dominated by skyscrapers not palm trees and the mass-tourism hordes rule out anything approaching deserted. However year round warm temperatures, a raging nightlife and endlessly long, right point breaks tempt southerners and foreigners alike, to try their luck in Australia's most competitive line-ups.

Description: The old saying goes, "If a butterfly flaps its wings over the Pacific, Santa Cruz gets swell." Well, actually there's no saying like that, but there should be. Because the coast forms a sort of natural bight, the area's myriad beachbreaks, points, and rocky reefs absorb swell from just about any direction—northwest to dead south—translating to rideable waves almost every day of the year. Big waves, secret spots, outer-reef bombies…even a world-class right-hand reef-point in Steamer Lane—Santa Cruz has them all. And if you're itching to do something stupid, Mavericks is only an hour north in the sleepy seaside town of Half Moon Bay. Good luck with tha
Description: Great surfbreaks of the world. The Wedge is a world-famous surfing, bodyboarding and bodysurfing spot located at the extreme east end of the Balboa Peninsula in Newport Beach, California. During a south swell of the right size and direction, the Wedge can produce huge waves up to 30 feet (9.1 m) high. The waves are a by-product of improvements to the groin (rock jetty) on the west side of the Newport Harbor entrance undertaken during the 1930s.[1] When conditions are right, and a wave approaches the shore at the proper angle (most generally a south swell), an approaching wave will reflect off the jetty creating a second wave. The reflected wave meets up with the following wave of the set and forms a peak, and this pattern can repea...
Description: Bells Beach is the home of the world's longest-running surfing competition – the Rip Curl Pro Surf & Music Festival. The event was formerly known as the Bells Beach Surf Classic. The competition was first held in January 1961 and then at Easter every year since although occasionally, when conditions at Bells aren't suitable, the competition has been transferred to other breaks such as Johanna. As early as 1939 surfers from Torquay made their way to Bells but access was a considerable problem until 1960 when Torquay surfers and Olympic wrestler Joe Sweeney hired a bulldozer and cleared a road along the Bells cliff [1] from the Cobb & Co Road, where the concrete wave now stands, down to the beach. He charged one pound per surfer to reco...
