What do you do? Do you try to understand what the crazy Swede is doing trying to kill this dog, or do you stupidly shoot the frantic foreigner in the head and give the mutt a friendly pat? Jed was of course famously adopted by then US President Ronald Reagan, who brought him to live at the White House from that point on. Alien conspiracy theories attached to a dramatic shift in White House policy shortly thereafter coinciding with Jed's sudden disappearance are completely untrue. Completely.
