Description: Around the turn of the century, homeless wanderers developed a system of glyphs and sigils called "Hobo Code." This symbol is my favourite one; it means "Be Prepared to Defend Yourself"

Description: In the 1930s, as the Great Depression ravaged the country, millions of men left their homes for an itinerant hobo lifestyle. They criss-crossed the country on trains and would leave scrawled markings on fences and walls to communicate with each other. That "hobo code" became a language of its own, and this is one of my favorite symbols.
