Arlyon Hoodies

Portencross is situated West of West Kilbride on the West coast of Scotland. There are some houses, an old harbour and a castle which is currently being restored. It's a lovely spot and I've taken lots of good reference photographs and done a fair number of sketches for future paintings. Well worth a visit.

Watercolour Spent a weekend at Pittenweem, hoping to get some lovely sunny shots of the harbour and the old boats. It snowed non stop all weekend. Looking back, my references were actually pretty good. Nice snowy shots....

Lovely old bridge in the lovely town of Biggar. 'London's big, but Biggar's biggar'. This is in the area which I grew up and where I went to High School. My daughter is the figure on the bridge.
