Bannerfish Hoodies

I created this piece in reflection to a few comments which were made by a photographic presenters comments, mentioning that a vignette was so passé ! I think when done well a black vignette, or even white, for that matter, works well..! This particular piece was taken in deep south Sudan in quite deep water and these Chaetodonts are usually paired up... 'they don't cheat!' They are monogamous, pairing during their adult lives... because of this the tropical fish industry along with its other problems of depleting marine stock also causes additional disruption... 'in a similar fashion to that of Syngnathidae'... the seahorses, which also form very mutually exclusive pairing.
