On a rainy day in the garden, I found some empty snail shells, which I took a picture of. I, then, digitally manipulated the picture to make this design.

My original mosaic, digitally altered to add interest.

This started with the poem which can be found in the image. The imagery of the poem depicts our progression in life, rising from primordial depths, gradually being liberated until we are transformed into the now unimaginable realm beyond. I collage pencil drawing, charcoal markings, photos of found objects from my shelves, as well as paint digitally onto the composition. Most of my work has been using Adobe Photoshop and my mouse. As you look closely at the lines of the poem they will suggest where to start and which way to scroll. I hope it will be a good time of meditating upon your own progression.
